Dearly beloved,

We conclude our series this weeks on “I’ve been meaning to ask…” with the question of “where do we go from here?”

In this age of GPS, it isn’t often that we seek out others to help us get from one place to another. We have become more and more self-reliant…and isolated. The pandemic only intensified that growing reality. While many of the former restrictions have been placed in the past, are we ready and willing to enter into community relationships. We can get so tied up in our individual lives, schedules, and needs that we forgot about the richness and blessing of being in community.

We are not called to travel this life alone (which we will hear more about in our reading next week). We travel together with our various gifts and abilities – we go farther together.

And where are we going?

As a community of faith, while we may not always know what is down the road – we do know that God is already there, guiding us along the way.
