Visitor FAQ
We worship every Sunday at 9:00am and in the summer months at 9:30am. It is a communion service. For upcoming events please see our calendar.
Trinity Lutheran Church is located about 1/2 mile past the Putnam Plaza in Carmel, NY. Just follow the directions located in the Directions button at the top of the home page.
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Our worship services are casual. You will see some people in dresses and suits, others in jeans and golf shirts, and lots of folks in slacks and sweaters. You should not worry about it come as you are.
There is no child care during service. Children of all ages are warmly welcomed to service.
No, it's not our style and we don't think it's a good way to grow our community of faith. After you visit us, you can speak with Pastor to answer any questions you may have. We do ask that you sign our guest book.
No, every part of our service is detailed in a bulletin that is given to you as you enter the church. Many elements of the service will be familiar to you if you have attended a Catholic, Episcopal, Methodist or Presbyterian church service.
No. All of the scripture readings are printed in the bulletin you receive on entering and hymnals located in the pews.
Yes. You should park in the upper parking lot in the marked spots. This will enable you to easily access the front door and the sanctuary.
Yes. We offer refreshments in Fellowship Hall but not during the summer months.
You do not need to be a Lutheran or a member of Trinity to receive. All are welcome.
