Little Hats, Big Hearts—Donations Due Dec. 17th. This is a program through the American Heart Association which provides red baby hats to newborns in February. This is to help raise awareness about heart disease and congenital heart defects. You may use whatever pattern you would like; please make sure that the yarn is red, cotton or acrylic, medium to heavy weight, machine washable and dryable, and has no ribbons or bows. There are a couple of patterns available if you would like to use one of them. Donations are due by Dec. 17th so that they may be sent to the local chapter.
