Dearly beloved,
Family Retreat at Koinonia
A newer Trinity person, Elly Harrold has been in touch with Camp Koinonia to look at when we might go to the camp for a weekend Family retreat. Two weekends they have available for a stay at the Conference Center are:
June 6 – 8 and
Nov. 14-16
And feel free to email me with any questions you have.
If you are interested in attending, please contact either Elly ([email protected]) or the church office ([email protected]) to let us know which dates you are able to attend. We will also have a sign up in the narthex. Please do so by March 7th so that we can reserve the dates
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Elly or Pastor Jen
Notes from Elly:
The weekend runs from 6:00 pm Friday evening to noon on Sunday. It includes two nights’ stay, and 5 meals prepared by Camp staff (3 Saturday; breakfast and lunch on Sunday). Activities generally include Bible study, arts and crafts, free time for hiking, kayaking or quiet time for yourself, campfire and s’mores, and more. And Sunday service is held at the conference center if the weather is not appropriate for outdoor service at the Chapel in the Pines. All activities are open to all, but participation is not required! You pick and choose what works best for you and your family.
Please see the link below to the Koinonia website so you can take a look. You can check the cost of stay, see pictures of the property, and see other themed weekends they have available.
We will be staying at the Conference Center for reference when checking out the website.

I have asked the registrar to hold these two weekends until I can get back to her to let her know if we can confirm.
Please check your calendars, share with family members and friends (you do not have to be a member of any particular church to attend), and let me know if either of these weekends will work for Trinity Lutheran Brewster.
My family and friends have been going to Koinonia for more than 30 years. What a wonderful spiritual, family-oriented, fun time is always had by all.
peace in Christ,
Pastor Jen
