Dearly beloved,
Thank you for all your prayers during my recent bout of Covid – it finally caught me after three years. Continuing prayers for all those who are currently infected with it as well as any of the other germs that are making the rounds. While I may have once just toughed it out and still worked when I was sick, these past few years (as well as all the years with my immuno-compromised husband) have made me that much more mindful of others. It’s not just how I may be feeling but those around me who might be more susceptible
We do not live in a vacuum but in relationship with one another. No matter the level of our relationships with others, we need each other and we need to take care of one another. Even in a community that is more spread out, we live inter-dependently with our neighbors. Despite all those things that “divide” us, we need each other more than we can imagine. This is the blessing from God in which we are created and called to live.
Share the love of God with all whom you encounter this week and give thanks to God for them!
peace in Christ,
Pastor Jen
