Dearly Beloved,
This Sunday is Reformation Sunday when we remember the actions of Martin Luther which brought about great change across the land. His was a call to remember who and whose we are. He pointed us back to the God who so generously gave fully of himself out of love for all people.

While Luther’s focus was primarily on God’s actions, we are called to live into this faithfully. If knowing that we are loved and forgiven doesn’t change how we live and interact with one another, we cheapen the gift of grace.

While we mark a date in history, we are invited into Christ’s ever-renewing and reforming gift. We seek to re-form our lives so that we are marked by that grace that enables us to live into the fullness of life that God creates for us.

peace in Christ,
