Dearly beloved,

This week, we begin a new worship series called “I’ve been meaning to ask..” with this week’s question of “Where are you from?” coupled with readings from Genesis 2 and John 1:35-51 which have as much to do with identity as well as geography.

Following worship, during coffee hour, you will have the opportunity to get to know one another a bit more through a variety of conversation cards with questions like:

What place feels most like home? What do you love about it?
If you could go back in time and teach your younger self one lesson, what would it be?
Share a memory related to food—a family recipe, a baking ritual, or a time of breaking bread with loved ones.

There will also be a devotional for people to use for their own reflection during the week. This guide has the above questions (and more) as well as art, poems and reflections related to that week’s scripture readings. Each week, there will also be social media posts (most days) with some of these resources. Share them within your own circle of family and friends.

Through these questions, you will be invited to reflect and remember what it means to part of God’s beloved community!
