Dearly Beloved,

Our Holy Week begins with the waving of palm branches and cries of Hosanna as Jesus enters Jerusalem. The tensions build throughout the week as his friends betray, deny and run from him. He faces all of this for our sake. Christ goes to the cross because of God’s steadfast and unrelenting love for us.

We mark these days in remembrance. We travel along this path with Jesus because we needed to be reminded again and again of God’s love for us and for all people. We need to experience the loving grace of our Creator.

This week is more than just a yearly ritual. It is at the heart of our faith! It is the ground of our very being. It is the message of Good news that we need to not only hear but are called to live into the love and grace that we receive in Christ.

Come and join others along this path of faith. Come to know that you are loved! You are forgiven! And you are God’s own beloved child!
