Prayer Shawls: Pastor Jen is hoping to re-start this former ministry. These shawls are physical expressions of prayer. They can be given to people going through a variety of experiences – whether times of joy (birth/baptisms, marriage, graduation, new job, etc.) or difficult (illness, grief, stress, tough decisions, etc.) People are invited to knit/crochet a shawl (any pattern or style) and as you do so, to pray blessings into the stitches. Once we have a few done, we will pray over them in worship. Even if you do not have someone in mind to receive this shawl, we trust that God knows who is in need of particular prayers.
