We ask the congregation to help us by donating items to help with the LWR projects. We need used cotton tee shirts to make baby gowns, used clean cotton or cotton/polyester sheets or tablecloths for the back of quilts; and the following items needed for each baby kit:

• +  Two lightweight cotton tee shirts (no onesies)
• +  Two long- or short-sleeved gowns or sleepers

  (without feet)

• +  Two receiving blankets, medium-weight cotton

  or flannel, or crocheted or knitted with

  lightweight yarn, up to 52 inches square

• +  Four cloth diapers, flat fold preferred
• +  One jacket, sweater, or sweatshirt with hood, or

  include a baby cap

• +  Two pairs of socks
• +  One hand towel (dark colors recommended)
• +  Two or three bath-size bars of gentle soap

  equaling 8 to 9 oz. any brand in original

  wrapping (no mini or hotel-size bars)

• +  Two diaper pins or large safety pins

  Please bring in any of these item to help us make up the kits.
