The Worship and Music Committee  meet monthly to plan ahead for upcoming festivals and special church events and plan special services such as the Lovefeast during Lent, Advent Vespers, and the Longest Night Service. We select the liturgy settings to be used, select the Offering song, and coordinate the Music of worship through Franklyn’s ministry. We look for ways to extend worship into daily living through booklets of Advent and Lenten devotional readings.

To the end of making our community worship a well-coordinated effort, Worship and Music relies on the volunteer ministry of members of our congregation as Assisting Ministers, Ushers, Acolytes, Altar Guild, Choir, Handbells and other musicians, and others whose work in the worship of God may or may not be visible to the congregation as a whole. The contributions and generous spirits of these worship leaders is truly valuable and appreciated. There is always opportunity for more volunteers to support these activities so we welcome new participants.
