The Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America is part of a national organization as well as the NY Synod WELCA group.

As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.

Trinity’s WELCA is involved in:

• Collecting items to create Lutheran World Relief baby kits, personal care kits and fabric kits

• Creating crafts for the annual Holiday Fair

• Raising funds to support Trinity ministries and the larger WELCA organization

We meet weekly on Thursdays. The first Thursday of the month is for bible study and business discussion. The remaining meetings during the month are for crafts and to go out to lunch as a group.
